I’m excited to share with you some of the feedback that our guests have provided and I hope this will help make your decision to try Fitology 360 a little easier. We invited a few friends to experience what Fitology was about and wanted to get some reactions from users and eventually getting people from a wide spectrum of profiles.

“After a light stretch to cool down my body, I went into the FIR sauna machine as Bruce explained to me how it works and the possibility of any side effects that I may suffer from after using it. I used the sauna for about 30 minutes and by the time I got out after that, not only was I sweating all the bad toxins out of my system, my body felt pretty good. It was really satisfying. To further punctuate how useful this device was, since yesterday, I’ve been peeing out really green-ish urine. Definitely a sign that my body was going through a huge amount of detox and at this point in time where I’m trying to exercise regularly, it is well worth it. “

My Fitology Experience: Day One
This past Friday, I decided to give the Fitology 360 program at Fitology in Jalan Riong, Bangsar a try as it was something that totally caught my attention. Having visited Nook (which happens to be the home of Fitology and Crazy Monkey Defense Malaysia), I was impressed at how gorgeous the building looked and how awesome the facilities were. That night, I was given a tour of the building by the co-owner and good friend of mine, Daniel, who elaborated further on the Fitology concept and the benefits it has.
The past few days, I’ve been very active. In addition to being a part of the Crazy Monkey Defense Malaysia family and taking up their programs, I also have taken up a bit of parkour, picked up climbing as another activity and have been going to various parks to jog and work out. However, I felt that I needed to take my workouts to a whole new level and I felt that Fitology 360° could help add to that.
So I got in touch with another good friend of mine, Bruce, who happens to be one of the trainers of the Fitology program, the Crazy Monkey Defense Program, as well as being a fellow Sasuke Malaysia Warrior and he helped to give me my first Fitology class. I arrived at close to 1:30 at the gym and was ready to go.
Before I go on, for those of you unfamiliar about the Fitology process, it goes like this. The program is called Fitology 360° and it encompasses four components. The first is Fitness, which is of course the workout routine where the client would do a set of exercises on the machines equipped at Fitology. The second is Detoxify, where the client would then be led into an FIR sauna machine to help get rid of unwanted toxins in the body. There are two types of FIR saunas in Fitology. The first is of course the typical sauna where you go into the box and sit there while your body gets detoxified. The second one looks like a torture device, but it works the same way. It’s a box with an opening at the top for your head to pop out. This is for those who are claustrophobic, which is of course a fear of tight spaces. Moving along, with have the third component of the Fitology 360° program, Nourishment. After your body is detoxified, the trainer will serve the client a thirst-quenching smoothie or juice tailored to match the client’s need. The fourth and final component is Sports Therapy, where the client is given a sports massage therapy which is of course different from your regular massage since it deals with stress and tension built up in the body’s soft tissues during the workout.
Much like every workout program, we began with some light stretching to get the joints loosen up. Bruce then took me to the first machine, the Jacob’s Ladder, a device which works similarly to a treadmill, except that instead of running or jogging, you climb on the “ladder”. I did about five minutes of that and of course I should consider wearing shoes or Vibram FiveFingers minimalist footwear cause my feet were hurting from the rungs of the “ladder”. Bruce then led me to the second device, an ab workout machine. This was a little tough, but it works in a similar way as doing knee ups from a bar. The only difference is instead of hanging from a bar, I had to kneel on a seat and push my weight forward to get the exercise going. It was tough and my calves kept on slipping since I’m not used to it, but hopefully, this would be second nature to me the next time I give that machine a go. I did three sets of ten reps on that machine. Weights can also be added to the machine for added resistance. Lastly, I was given a go on a machine that caught my attention the moment I saw it, a rope climbing machine. This is pretty simple as all I had to do was pull an endless strand of rope, but as the difficulty increased, it became excruciatingly taxing. I did five minutes of that, but hopefully someday, I would be able to do ten. Good for Sasuke Malaysia training since the last stage would require the participant to climb up a rope to reach the top of the tower and also, was a good way to help me get used to gripping the rope. There’s another machine which is pretty much an elliptical, but is actually cool in a way that it uses your body’s electrolytes to power up the machine and as you continue using it, it will help to trigger a fan built into the machine to help cool you down on your run! That’s what I call an energy saver. Sustainable living, people. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I finally ended the session with a really awesome smoothie made by Bruce. If I could recall, the smoothie consisted of bananas, oranges, protein shake, water (Or was it milk? I can’t remember.) and ice cubes. I swear, it had to be the tastiest smoothie I’ve ever had and was a perfect way to end my very first Fitology session. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have the sports therapy massage as the masseuses were not in as of yet, but hopefully, I can get to go through that and the elliptical machine so I could give you guys a rough idea on how it feels to go through the entire Fitology 360° program.
